Position Title: Chief Executive Officer

Status: Full Time Exempt

Salary: Between $90,000 - $110,000, dependent on experience and qualifications. Fully paid health, dental and vision coverage. Also, includes 401k matching plan.

Reports to: President, Board of Directors

Job Summary

The Chief Executive Officer of Ozanam Inn is responsible to the Board of Directors for the proficient and continual operation of the facility and all its departments.

Key Duties and Responsibilities - including but not limited to:

  • Administers, coordinates, and directs all house activities at Ozanam Inn.
  • Determines organizational structures and procedures for the routine operations of Ozanam Inn, developing and implementing policies and procedures for continual plant operations.
  • Directs the coordination of plant development programs, renovations, maintenance, fire, and safety programs and checks.
  • Responsible for the public relations of Ozanam Inn, printed materials, presentations and media.
  • Works closely with the Board of Directors on developing strategic planning and attends all Board Meetings. Keeps The Board apprised of all aspects of the shelter operations, meetings, and activities related to Ozanam Inn.

Qualifications

Possess ten (10) years prior administrative and management experience in private and non-profit sector, preferably dealing with the poor and homeless.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to make presentations to small and large groups. Valid Louisiana driver’s license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation.
  • Submit to and successfully complete a Live Scan fingerprinting background check. Submit to and successfully pass drug screening.
